These workshops are designed for women who want to better understand their mental health, learn practical coping tools, and feel supported in what they’re experiencing. You do not need to be in therapy or have a mental health diagnosis to attend.
-
No! You do not need to be a current or previous counseling client. These workshops are open to anyone who feels the topic would be helpful to them.
-
No. These workshops are educational and supportive but are not a substitute for individual therapy, diagnosis, or mental health treatment. Attending a workshop does not establish a therapist-client relationship with Colorful Emotions Counseling or the workshop facilitator.
-
Absolutely not. You are welcome to participate in discussions and activities at your own comfort level. There will never be pressure to share personal experiences with the group.
-
My goal is for you to leave with more than information. You'll walk away with a better understanding of what you may be experiencing, practical mental health strategies, guided exercises, and an individualized plan you can continue using after the workshop.
-
No. You are welcome to keep your camera on or off depending on your comfort level. I want the experience to feel supportive and accessible rather than stressful.
-
Yes! There will be opportunities to ask general questions throughout the workshop as well as dedicated Q&A time toward the end. To protect everyone's privacy, individualized clinical advice or personal therapy cannot be provided in the group workshop setting.
-
That's okay. Part of each workshop includes learning how to recognize when additional professional support may be beneficial. You'll receive information about possible next steps and mental health resources. Participation in the workshop does not require you to pursue counseling with Colorful Emotions.
