ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Ashley Gonzalez

I am married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have two wonderful children and a lovable Goldendoodle who keeps life entertaining.

I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2026. During my year-long practicum and internship experience, I had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children as young as six years old, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

During my training, I became certified in Sand Tray Therapy, which has provided me with valuable tools to help clients express emotions, process experiences, and explore personal growth in creative and meaningful ways.

While I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan, I have developed a particular passion for supporting women experiencing infertility, pregnancy-related challenges, postpartum concerns, and the many emotional demands that come with motherhood.

As a mother myself, I understand that balancing family, relationships, responsibilities, and personal well-being can feel overwhelming. I bring both professional knowledge and personal understanding into the therapy room.

MY APPROACH

My approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

I believe every client has the capacity for growth, healing, and change. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you, helping you gain insight, build confidence, and discover solutions that align with your values and goals.

I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free environment where you feel safe enough to explore difficult emotions and empowered enough to create meaningful change.

Is for every client to leave feeling seen, supported, and equipped with tools they can use in their everyday lives.
