From developing your brand and building a website to marketing, creating systems, attracting clients, and turning an idea into an actual business, there are so many pieces that simply aren’t taught in grad school.
Entrepreneurship has been part of my life long before I became a therapist. I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, so I was exposed early on to what it takes to build, operate, and grow a business. I later became an entrepreneur myself, owning and operating a gift-boxing business for several years, where I gained hands-on experience with branding, marketing, customer experience, operations, and bringing a business concept to life.
When I decided to build Colorful Emotions Counseling, I was able to combine that business experience with my work as a therapist creating the brand, website, systems, marketing strategy, services, and overall client experience from the ground up. Along the way, I realized that the business-building side of private practice is something I genuinely love, and it's also an area where many therapists wish they had more guidance and support.
That’s why I created Build My Practice—a mentorship experience for new and soon-to-be therapists who want more than a checklist. • 60-minute private 1:1 virtual mentorship session

Build My Practice focuses on the business and practice-building side of being a therapist, including branding, marketing, systems, websites, organization and practice growth.
Mentorship does not replace clinical supervision, legal advice, accounting services, or other professional consultation that may be required for your practice.
